Workana Data Actor
Data policy and removal requests.
This page belongs to an Apify Actor that collects publicly visible project listings from Workana — the information any visitor sees without signing in.
What it collects
- Project title, description, budget, deadline and required skills.
- The client's country, rating, and whether their payment method is verified.
- How many proposals a project has received.
What it does not collect
- No client identities. Workana already masks the name shown to visitors who are not signed in, and this actor does not attempt to reverse that, cross-reference it, or enrich it from other sources.
- No freelancer profiles. Project listings arrive already anonymised; a freelancer profile is an identified person. That is not collected.
- No data behind a login. The actor never creates an account, never uses session cookies and never solves captchas.
Removal requests
If a project description contains personal information about you and you would like it removed from our cache and archive, write to:
Include the project URL or its slug. We will confirm receipt and remove
the record. No account or proof of identity is required to ask.
Retention
Cached rows expire automatically after 6 hours. Archived records expire after 90 days. Both are enforced by the storage layer itself, not by a cleanup job that could be forgotten.
Data age
Every row we deliver declares from_cache, fetched_at and
data_age_hours, so anyone using the data knows how old it is. Serving a
stale row as if it were fresh is not something we do quietly.
Complaints from Workana
If Workana asks us to stop, we stop first and evaluate afterwards.
